Our Founder
Our founder, Ishaan Surve, is a changemaker from the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. When he was young, he spent countless hours venturing into his world of imagination, with nature and figurines being his companions. Those joyful hours helped him become more creative, empathetic and adventurous. Those pivotal experience are the foundation for his love for nature.
While volunteering at mangrove cleanup drives he noticed that the wetland ecosystem was being devastated by plastic waste which was clogging up the mangrove roots and choking the local fauna. Inspired to make a change, he founded Praakruti a purpose driven startup that aims to eliminate plastic from the Indian toy sector.

To pioneer a green revolution in the plastic-intensive toy sector to inspire the next generation of environment enthusiasts and create an ecosystem for the nascent Indian sustainable toy industry.
Our Mission
To give children joyful memories, encourage creativity, and empower them to create companions within their imaginative world. We help them forge their special connection with nature and through play, we raise awareness about our planet and the challenges it faces.
Our Outreach Philoshophy
Praakruti is committed to bridge the gap between urban children and nature by providing them an opportunity to explore nature with our products and forge a unique bond with the environment. Praakruti pledges 50% of its profits to uplift the rural tribal community and work towards inspiring a new generation of passionate environmentalists.
